1. General Information
These Terms & Conditions govern the participation and attendance at the Turkey Science & Poultry Conference ("Conference"). By registering for and attending the Conference, participants agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Registration
2.1 Eligibility
Registration is open to individuals who are professionals, researchers, students, and stakeholders in the field of poultry science.
2.2 Registration Fee
All participants are required to pay the registration fee in full at the time of registration. The fee includes access to all conference sessions, materials, and scheduled meals.
2.3 Payment
Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other specified methods. All payments must be completed prior to the Conference.
2.4 Confirmation
Upon successful registration and payment, a confirmation email will be sent to the participant. This confirmation must be presented at the registration desk on the first day of the Conference.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Cancellation by Participant
Participants may cancel their registration up to 45 days before the Conference and receive a full refund, minus a processing fee of £50. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the Conference.
3.2 Cancellation by Organiser
The organisers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Conference due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled event.
4. Code of Conduct
4.1 Professional Behaviour
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
4.2 Compliance
Participants must comply with all instructions from the Conference staff and adhere to the rules and regulations of the venue.
5. Liability
5.1 Personal Property
The organisers are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal property. Participants are advised to keep their belongings secure at all times.
5.2 Health and Safety
Participants must adhere to any health and safety protocols in place, including any measures related to COVID-19. The organisers are not liable for any illness or injury that may occur during the Conference.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Presentations and Materials
All presentations and materials provided during the Conference are the intellectual property of the respective authors and presenters. Reproduction or distribution of these materials without permission is prohibited.
6.2 Recording
Participants are not allowed to record any sessions without prior consent from the organizers and the presenters.
7. Privacy
7.1 Data Protection
The organisers will collect and use personal data of participants for the purpose of administering the Conference. This data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
7.2 Photography and Videography
The Conference may be recorded or photographed for promotional purposes. By attending, participants consent to being photographed or recorded and waive any rights to compensation.
8. Amendments
The organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants and will take effect immediately upon publication on the Conference website.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country where the Conference is held. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country.
By registering for the Turkey Science & Poultry Conference, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
